Living in photo obsessed Korea, while shopping for a camera, do I have too many choices?
I took a walk along Haeundae Beach the other week only to find almost everyone there taking or posing for pictures. I was so amused by this that I had to respond by taking out my own camera and take pictures of other people taking pictures.
I love the camera I have, I was super sad a few years ago when the screen on the back broke, but it’s no spring chicken. I’ve noticed it starting to glitch more frequently and works slower than it used to. I don’t want to be stuck in the Photograph Heaven of Angkor Wat without a camera, so now I need to buy a new one. I feel so overwhelmed with choices, I don’t really know where to start.
I tried to shop around this weekend, but it was really hard. I don’t have much time left before vacation, guess I need to figure things out soon.
Any advice? These girls look pretty happy with their camera. Maybe I should have asked them. I also really love this picture, they look like a fun bunch!
