30 Sept 2015 | Seoul, South Korea —
Street artworks and mural villages are common in Korea. I could name a couple of sites where I’ve been to last year: Ihwa Mural Village (이화 벽화마을) and Gangpul Cartoon Alley (강풀만화거리). Aside from those, my sister and I explored a peaceful industrial neighborhood in Mullae. Few meters from Mullae station exit 7, across the park, is the Mullae Art Village (문래동 예술촌). An information booth, a map made of bolts and a huge welding mask could be seen right away.
A wall painting could be spotted on each narrow alley around the area. There are also artworks on most of the stores’ steel gates, but since we visited during working hours, we only saw a part of it.
We roamed around without any guide and every time we caught sight of an art, our hearts skipped a beat. Here are my shots:

On our way back to the subway station, we found a map on top of the information booth of where we could locate the artworks. Tsk!
That’s all for now. Which artwork did you like best? Mine’s the featured image. It’s a good reminder to stay happy and carefree. One more thing, how many bicycles did you find in this album?
