This will be the second time in a week that I have hit on a smoking theme, but when you’re hot, you’re…OK, enough with the metaphors. In short, His Royal Kimness the Third recently toured Taesongsan General Hospital, which is being built by the People’s Army in Pyongyang. At several times during the tour he was pictured lighting up and smoking away.
I suppose if I was his political spin doctor I could release the following statement:
“So great are the new facilities being built by the Great Kim and so wondrous is the technology being installed, that you can continue to enjoy your smoking habit resting safely assured that modern North Korean medical magic will cure your cancer.”
At any rate, being a dictator has its perks; it’s good to be Kim, and he can smoke wherever he pleases. The North Korean propaganda machine seems to think so, since they regularly release photos of the Great One puffing away.
