Hi! My name is Annie and I am a culinarily curious U.S. Army Officer currently stationed in South Korea. I am an insatiable entrepreneurial and inventive spirit hungry for challenges, adventure and the next good eat. As a creatively minded individual serving in the disciplined world of the military, I created The Brazen Gourmand as an outlet for my creativity and a means to express my passion for all things related to dining, cooking, adventure and travel. I’ll be getting out of the military this winter and heading to culinary school as the first stop in the pursuit of my passion. My goal is to start a dining and spirits event planning company to build support for local restaurants, mixologists, breweries and vineyards while creating one-of-a-kind experiences for the community.
