There is a lot of buzz in Korea around Paul McCartney’s upcoming show in Seoul on Saturday, May 2, 2015. Koreans are big Beatles fans, as I saw at a recent McCartney art exhibit. I braved the queues and crowds to check out the ‘Linda McCartney Retrospective’ at the Daelim Museum in Seoul. The exhibit ran from November 6, 2014 to April 26, 2015.
McCartney has been described as the greatest female photographer of her era because of her talent and close proximity to iconic artists of the time. The exhibit had a great range of casual and intimate scenes of 20th century music, including The Beatles, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton, all over the world.
Really touching photos of her daily life with Paul and Stella on her pursuit to find happiness. I definitely recommend that you check it out if it’s available near you.
