Anonymous Said is a podcast about Kpop, entertainment, and life in Korea. Each podcast has an anonymous guest where they talk about events in Korea and the behind the scenes life of Kpop stars. By talking anonymously and not using names of the idols being gossiped about, AS hopes to shed light on some of the negative sides of the Kpop industry.
Episode 3 is titled "Gay Life in Korea vs. Kpop" and explores some of the inconsistencies of Korea's intense homophobia and the culture of shipping between male members of K-pop groups. The Kimchi Queen gets mentioned a couple of times, so thanks for that AS. Anonymous Said is still in its infancy stages, but it looks like it could provide a nice niche in the Kpop world. And I'll definitely be looking forward to other posts that examine the intersections of Kpop and homosexuality.
