The politicqueer world talked about the demand for anti-discrimination laws in an article over at Up Korea titled Collecting a Million Signatures to Promote a Constitutional Change to Protect LGBT Human Rights (Korean). Of course, the religious right isn't very happy about this proposed amendment arguing that the LGBT Anti-Discrimination Law Will Make Pastors Mute or Criminals (Korean).

In the world of entertainment, 'Top Gay' Hong Seok-cheon says not all gays are feminine (Korean) over at Osen News while Kim Jho Gwang Su's Two Weddings and a Funeral Will Fly to the Stage (Korean). Korean Joongang Daily reports in English on how the Gay musical aims to change stigma. Kim Jho Gwang Su also contends that 'We Need Diverse Genres With LGBT Content' in a Korean article over at My Daily. In less interesting news, No Min Oh Confesses that His Bed Selfie Caused the Misconception that He Was Gay (Korean).

A Korean article over at IlyoSeoul, As Night Changes, So Does Namsan, looks at prostitution in the Namsan area, with a particular focus on transgender prostitutes who are aiming to earn enough money to afford surgery. Completely unrelated but a great read is MK News The Wonderfully Tight Other Hole (Korean) where author Kim Min Ji looks at anal sex (including its existence during the Joseon Dynasty *gasp*) as part of the wider Korea Institute for Sex Education. Finally, Ralph Karst at Sweet Pickles and Corn has an interview with a transgender Korean student in Pilgrim's Progress: A Queer Journey from Korea to America.

If readers have an specific article that they would like translated in English, let me know in the comments below ^^
