I finally had a chance to visit the new bear beer bar in Jongno this past weekend. It is one of those self-service bars with beers ranging from 2,500 won Cass to 9,000 won imports.

The clientele was mostly bears. My companion pointed out that we never see bears walking around this city, but apparently they exist. Not just chubby Asians, but also muscley Asian guys that are busting out of their flannels. Woof. The bartender/owner at Sno Pub was pretty friendly and had a good command of English, so I'm sure he'll welcome foreigners. And after a few bears, the clientele seemed to be getting a bit more friendly (though nobody made an effort to talk to us cute waygookins at the bar).
To get to Sno Pub, head to Jongno 3 Ga exit 6. Do a quick u-turn and turn left on the main road (going north). You'll see Sno Pub half way down the block on your right. It's on the third floor.
