In many Korean apartments, the showers are not sealed off from the rest of the bathroom. Water pretty much goes everywhere and exits down a big drain (where the sink water also goes to). Because of this, it’s encouraged to own special rubber washroom slippers.
I bought these cute Hello Kitty slippers! They make me smile every time I walk into my bathroom. Also, the 아저시 (ahjussi, older man) that came to fix my leaky shower looked AWESOME wearing them!
